GRADES ARE NOW ONLINE

Dear Parents/Guardians:

ABLE has adapted an online grading system, mygradebook.com, that will allow you to check your child’s grades on a regular basis.

My gradebook has "the parent/student viewer" that allows you to log in and view only your child's grade. In order to use this feature, you will need the attached  password to access only your child's summary.

Now, when your child says "all my work is done," you can go online and check. My gradebook allows all of us — the teacher, the parent, and the student — to work together to ensure your child’s success in school.

To check your child's grade summary go to http://www.mygradebook.com. Under Students and Parents select the Login Here link. Then click single class login. The classword that you will need to enter consists of your child’s class subject and the first 3 letters of their homeroom teacher’s last name (except Ms. Manalisay’s homeroom which will use the first 4 letters).

• If your child is in Mr. Fritz’s homeroom you would use the following classwords:
• ArtFri, ScienceFri, MathFri, Bus/TechFri, EnglishFri, and SocialstudiesFri
• If your child is in Mrs. Ceglady’s homeroom you would use the following classwords:
• ArtCeg, ScienceCeg, MathCeg, Bus/TechCeg, EnglishCeg, and SocialstudiesCeg
• If your child is in Ms. Colakoglu’s homeroom you would use the following classwords:
• ArtCol, ScienceCol, MathCol, Bus/TechCol, EnglishCol, and SocialstudiesCol
• If your child is in Ms. Manalisay’s homeroom you would use the following classwords:
• ArtMana, ScienceMana, MathMana, Bus/TechMana, EnglishMana, and SocialstudiesMana
• If your child is in Mrs. Hunt’s homeroom you would use the following classwords:
• ArtHun, ScienceHun, MathHun, Bus/TechHun, EnglishHun, and SocialstudiesHun
• If your child is in Ms. Haislip’s homeroom you would use the following classwords:
• ArtHai, ScienceHai, MathHai, Bus/TechHai, EnglishHai, and SocialstudiesHai

After you have entered the correct classword, use the attached password and click login. *Please note that after the first semester ends on 1/22/08 you will need to include a 2 at the end of the classword to see the second semester grades.

Once you are logged in, an overall grade summary screen will appear. The “Grading Period” at the top of the page will tell you which unit grade you are looking at. Scroll down or up in the “Grading Period” to change units or look at the overall term grade (all grading periods). To view assignment grades for each unit click on the “Assignment” tab. Which unit’s assignments you view will be determined by the unit in the “Grading Period”.

If you wish to link all your child’s classes together, click on the “My Account’ tab and click “ Create a Primary Login”. Once you have a primary login ID and password you can link each class to them. Log into each class as described above and go to the “My Account” screen. Then click “Link to Primary Login” and enter the primary login ID and password you created. This will allow you to login once and view all your child’s grades for multiple classes. When you first login into my gradebook you would click on multiple class login instead of single class login.
